Address Validation

ShipPlus allows you to Connect your WooCommerce store with popular address validation libraries. With This feature, you can validate your customer’s address during checkout process.

Configuration Steps

To get started with Address Validation on your WooCommerce store, You will need to follow the below steps

  1. Choose your service provider
  2. Connect to service
  3. Address configuration

Service Providers

ShipPlus (after V3.1.1) is compatible with 2 Address validation libraries.

  1. Fetchify
  2. Loqate

Choose your service provider

From above available service, Loqate is available worldwide and Fetchify software is available in UK.

Connect to Service

You will need to connect your WooCommerce store to third party address validation libraries using ShipPlus. Follow the below steps to use address validation,

  • Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Address Validation
  • Choose your preferred service provider
  • Save settings and open service provider tab

You will need to connect to your chosen service.

How to connect to Fetchify?

  • Sign up for a new account
  • Simple signup – It will ask for email id and password to create a new account
  • Access your account dashboard
  • Open Overview tab
  • Under access token section, you will find your access token details
  • It is a paid service so you will need to checkout your account details based on your country.

How to connect to Loqate?

  • Sign up for a new account
  • Sign in into your account dashboard
  • Open API Key tab from dashboard
  • You will find your API Key in get started tab

Address Configuration

After you have successfully connected to your service provider, you will need to add your application and secret keys alongside some setting options. Follow below steps for your chosen service,

How to configure Fetchify?

  • You will need to give your Access token
  • Click on save settings

How to configure Loqate?

  • You will need to give your Loqate Service key
  • Activate International Validator (If using outside US)
  • Click on Save settings

By following above mentioned steps for all services, you will be able to integrate address validator into your WooCommerce store.
