Pickup Address

ShipPlus allows you to create a pickup spot and pickup shipping functions in your WooCommerce store.

It allows your customers to choose pickup shipping option from various locations. It enables pickup schedules and product management for order pickups.

Configuration Steps

You will need fulfil below requirements to create pickup address in your WooCommerce store,

Pickup Configuration

To configure pickup address you will need to follow below setup,

Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shippings
Open Pickup Address
Customise General setting options as followed,
- Activate – It will enable pickup address on checkout page.

- Name – Add a name for customer to choose on checkout page.
- Geocoding Key – Add your geocoding key to connect your WooCommerce store.
- Logging – Enable this option if you want to use Google Geocoding.

After setting up general settings, you will need to setup Checkout settings. it will update how pickup address tab should display on checkout page.

Product Setup

After completing pickup configuration, you will need to customise products page and decide how pickup address should be applied to your store.

Apply pickups to categories

You can apply pickup locations to your store by following above 2 methods. You will need to assign how pickups should work on above 2 methods also. Here are 3 pickup methods that you can add to products.

Can Pickup order
No Pickup order
Must Pickup order

Above options will decide how pickups should be considered for products in checkout page.

How to Apply Pickup Directly to Products?

If pickup address is applied directly to product, It will work only for that specific product in checkout. If buyer has other products in package with such product, shipping calculations will not include pickup active product.

Go to Products > Edit Product
Open Shipping Tab

Choose your preferred pickup method from dropdown and save product.

How to Apply Pickup to Categories?

If pickup address is applied to categories, It will work for all products under that product category in checkout. If buyer has other products in package with such product, shipping calculations will not include pickup active product.

Go to Products > Category
Chose the category you want to edit
Click on edit

Choose your preferred pickup method from dropdown and save product.

Waiting Period Setup

After you have completed pickup address setup, You will need to assign a waiting period for orders. Follow below settings,

Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Pickup Address
Go to Waiting Period Settings
Type – Chose the pickup method for customers to choose on checkout
- Display Appointment – It will show a appointment calendar which helps customer to decide a visiting data
Duration – Chose how long appointment should last. It decide appointment frequency.
Slot Limit – Determine how many customer can choose a same slot.
Deadline – Add a deadline for customers to pickup orders.

Shipping Price Adjustment – You can provide a discount to customer for choosing pickup function.
Store location tax – Apply tax charges based on location of store.
