Product Based Shipping

Product Based Shipping

ShipPlus allows you to add shipping costs for products directly based on their location.

Follow below documentation to learn how you can create Table rate shipping setup with ShipPlus.

Configuration Steps

You can add product based shipping to your WooCommerce store by 3 methods,

  1. Product Based Setup
  2. Product Based Global Shipping
  3. Variation Based Separate Shipping

Product Based Setup

Separate shipping allows you to create shipping rules for every product separately.

Unlike Variations, Product based Separate shipping will apply the shipping rules for that particular product only.

  • Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping and select the shipping zone you want to add Product based Shipping to.

Product Based Separate Shipping

  • Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping and select the shipping zone you want to add Product based Shipping to.
  • Go to products > Edit Product
  • Go to Shipping Tab
  • Customise the following settings
    • Activate product based shipping checkbox
    • Country – Choose the targeted country for shipping rule.
    • State – Choose the targeted state for shipping rule.
    • Postcode – Enter a single postcode to apply the rule to.
    • Direct Cost – Shipping charges without considering product quantity.
    • Valued Cost – Shipping charges with considering product quantity (cost * quantity).

Variation Based Separate Shipping

Separate shipping allows you to create shipping rules for every product separately.

Unlike Product, Variations based Separate shipping will apply the shipping rules for that particular variation only.

  • Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping and select the shipping zone you want to add Product based Shipping to.
  • Go to products > Edit Product
  • Open the variation you want to customise from variations tab.
  • Activate product based shipping checkbox
  • Customise the following settings
    • Country – Choose the targeted country for shipping rule.
    • State – Choose the targeted state for shipping rule.
    • Postcode – Enter a single postcode to apply the rule to.
    • Direct Cost – Shipping charges without considering product quantity.
    • Valued Cost – Shipping charges with considering product quantity (cost * quantity).
