ShipPlus allows you to display shipping rates based on order’s distance from your shipping address. You can setup a distance based shipping setup with ShipPlus.

You can create various conditions for distance based shipping like total distance, weight of the cart, total of cart and much more.

Follow below documentation to learn how you can create Distance rate shipping setup with ShipPlus.

Setup Requirements

You will need fulfil below requirements to create distance rate shipping in your WooCommerce store,

  1. Google API Key
  2. Google Cloud Platform Billing
  3. ShipPlus Configuration

Google API Key

We will be using Google Maps and Google Distance Matrix to get location of the orders and calculate distances. First step is to get your API keys. Follow the below steps,

  • In library section, search for “Google Maps Distance Matrix API”
  • Click on enable
  • It will for billing details, It is not related to ShipPlus or IWP. Google will give first 200 credits for free.
  • Once you have enabled distance matrix API, you will see a new option called enabled APIs on your API dashboard
