Product Swatches Setting

In this doc, we are going to learn what you should do after you have successfully made your global or custom attribute setup.

You will need to assign additional gallery images and assign swatches data to the product after you have made your attributes.

Additional Gallery Images

After you have made your global/custom attributes, you will need to create variations for product using those attributes.

As you can see in the above image, follow the below steps to create variations,

Go to variations tab
Click on Generate variations or add manually

Once you have added variations to the product, you will see a button to add additional gallery images for that specific variation.

Save the product as draft after doing all these changes.

Note – If you have a setup as shown in the image, you can use “any size format” in the variations to avoid making mulitple variations.

Variation Swatches

In this doc, we will learn how you will customise product’s variation swatches settings. Follow the below instructions,

In Edit Product Section
Go to Swatches Settings

You will find a list of all the active attributes of product. besides that you will see a dropdown selector to choose the swatches type.

You will need to adjust the changes by following the instructions and info text.

You will be able to choose shape of swatches for separate use, visibility of swatches on shop page, tooltips data, image or color selection based on swatches and some other customisation options to choose for.

Click on save settings and publish the product after you have done all the changes.
