Common Mistakes

Plugin is not working properly.

Not to worry, Checkout some of the common reasons why IWP Swatches does not work. If this not helps, You can contact our Plugin Support anytime. Check out all the below conditions if you are not seeing any changes on your product page after activating the plugin.

Basic reasons why IWP Swatches is not working-

  • Pages are cached on your device. Please check the product page link on Incognito Mode or on a different device.
  • If you are using Speed optimizing or Caching plugins on your site. (Activate AJAX settings in this case)
  • The plugin is not configured correctly. Check Plugin Setup
  • Plugin incompatibility issues (Contact Technical Suppor Team in this case)

Product Gallery Weird Dimensions

If your product gallery’s dimensions are not proper as they were before after installing the plugin, Simply follow the below steps to adjust dimensions.

  • Go to IWP Swatches > Gallery Settings > Dimension Settings 
  • Adjust gallery dimensions
  • Adjust gallery dimensions for devices
  • Click on save
  • You will see the updated gallery.

You may need to setup the gallery dimensions for some themes after activating plugin.

Product Gallery Loading Icon

If you are seeing a loading icon over the product gallery constantly, Follow the below steps to resolve the error,

  • Purge all the cache from dashboard and hosting
  • Go to IWP Swatches > Gallery > Click on reset all settings > Save settings
  • Try opening the product page now.

Resetting the settings should resolve the loading icon on the gallery.

Filters are not showing

IWP Swatches is not a filters plugin. But, it adds some functionalities that you can use to enhance your shop/archives/search page.

If you are not using any filters plugin then your shop page’s sidebar will only show product attributes in text format to use as filters.

With IWPS, you can add image and color based attributes to them.

We recommend using global attributes for colors to use this function.

Updater Notices

IWP swatches may show a notice saying “Click here to run a manual updater for checks”

In this scenario, simply click on the run button and let it complete the process.

It will automatically check for updates and resolve bugs.

Deprecated Addons

IWP Swatches Addons are deprecated after 3.2 update.

Addons are no longer supported. Please update to the current version of IWP Swatches.

All the functions and features of the Addons are available in the pro version.
