IWPS Variation Swatches

We will learn how to use IWPS to customise WooCommerce product pages in this documentation. Our plugin allows you to customise different elements of WooCommerce product page like variation swatches, product gallery, shop pages and more.

Complete doc is divided into few steps to make the setup easy to understand. Follow the steps to know how to use IWPS. You can contact our support team via support ticket at any point of time.

To work properly, you must activate plugin with your purchase code.

Adding Swatches

With IWPS, you can add different types of variation swatches. As you can see in the above demo image, you can convert the default dropdown variations into a custom swatches.

  • Color swatches
  • Dual color swatches
  • Image swatches
  • Radio Button swatches
  • Text swatches
  • Dropdown swatches

You can add types of swatches with 2 ways,

  1. With Global attributes
  2. With Custom attributes

If you have already added swatches data inside global attributes, you can add swatches to product more easily.

To create swatches in custom attribute, follow the below steps.

  • Go to Edit Product
  • Open Swatches Settings
  • Choose your variable field
  • Select color as type
  • Add product data
  • Click on save

Here, you can create a dual color setup too.

You will see an option to convert single color variation into a dual color. Simply activate it and it will turn into a dual color variation.

With the same setup, you can choose any type of variation from image, color, text, radio button, text and more.

Global attributes

To create swatches in a global attribute, follow the below steps.

  • Go to Attributes
  • Choose the term which you want to customise
  • Choose the type of swatches
  • Add the data related selected type of swatches
  • Save the attribute

Now you can use this attribute term in a product page and it will showcase the variation swatches data that you add in the terms field.

Here, you can create a dual color setup too.

You will see an option to convert single color variation into a dual color. Simply activate it and it will turn into a dual color variation.

With the same setup, you can choose any type of variation from image, color, text, radio button, text and more.
