Common Mistakes

Plugin is not working properly.

Not to worry, Checkout some of the common reasons why IWP Insta does not work. If this not helps, You can contact our Plugin Support anytime. Check out all the below conditions if you are not seeing any changes on your product page after activating the plugin.

Basic reasons why IWP Insta is not working-

  • Pages are cached on your device. Please check the product page link on Incognito Mode or on a different device.
  • If you are using Speed optimizing or Caching plugins on your site. (Activate AJAX settings in this case)
  • The plugin is not configured correctly. Check Plugin Setup
  • Plugin incompatibility issues (Contact Technical Suppor Team in this case)

Instagram Business account not found

If such message appears on your screen while connecting to Instagram account to your Business Manager Catalog or Shop, please, be sure your account satisfies all the requirements. Additionally, check you have turned your Instagram account into a business account.

An unexpected error occurred

If you see this error during authentication. Probably there was an error related to the Instagram API connection. Create a support ticket in this case.

Go to “WooCommerce > Status > Tools“

Find and activate “Clear Instagram images” & click on “Clear”

Doing this will clear your cached Instagram images in store. If URLs are changed then such issues appear.

Access credentials expired

If such error message is showcased on your backend, it means that automated renewal process is facing issues.

You will find a Renew access button on the settings page. You can easily renew your access from that page.

My Instagram account is pending review

The process may take a few days. Once you have converted your Instagram account into a business account and requested to enable Instagram Shopping, the Instagram team will review your account.

In the mean time you can contact the Instagram support team to get an update on the review status.
