Authorize.Net Emulation

Authorize.NET Emulation is one of the payment gateways that accept credit card payments through Method’s Payments App. You can use Authorize.Net Emulation if you’re using any credit card processor that uses the same API as Authorize.NET.

Features like refunds, voids, and capturing charges from within WooCommerce are not available in Authorize.Net Emulation. Only payment processing is supported.

To activate the Authorize.Net Emulation on your dashboard, simply access the plugins page on your WordPress dashboard and find main payment gateway plugin. At the end of all links you will find Enable Emulation. Activate the settings from link.

After activating Emulation from link you will find additional tab for Authorize.Net Emulation in your Payment Settings.

Activate the gateway, Set proper URL and API to start using the payment gateway.

You have to set appropriate settings for all of this options as per your requirements to make plugin work correctly.

• Enable Payment Gateway From First Options. It activates the settings of the plugins and applies emulation gateway in WooCommerce.
• Add a title that is shown on the payment during checkout and on the Order Received page.
• Description is the text shown under the title during checkout. Limited HTML is allowed.
• Enable Card Verification (CSC) to make customers enter their CVV / CV2 (Card Security Code) on checkout. It is useful for requirements in your Authorize.Net account for CV2 verification.
• Transaction Type controls how transactions are submitted to Authorize.Net. You can choose “Charge” or “Authorization”. Charge is default selected.
• Accepted Card Logos controls the card logos that display during checkout. Check this also
• Enable Debug Mode if you are having issues in transactions. You can see them from WooCommerce Error Log which is found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs.
• Test & Production Environment are available. Test mode sends transactions to your Authorize.Net Test Account. Check this also
• Set the Payment Gateway URL for the Authorize.Net gateway processor.
• API Login ID is the Login for your Authorize.Net account Test or Production account.
• API Transaction Key is the Key for your Authorize.Net account for Test or Production account.

Emulation will work correctly if you have setup all the above settings properly. Also keep this things in mind before setting up emulation,

• Description will also display a notice along with test credit card numbers in test mode.
• You have to manually control payments in your Authorize.Net control panel or on the WooCommerce orders screen after the transaction has been submitted in Authorization transaction type.
• Enable debugging mode only if you are facing any issues with plugin. all the messages are cleaned already.
• Payment Gateway URL can be changed to a different processor that allows Authorize.Net emulation.
• In Authorize.Net Emulation, API Transaction Key and API Login are provided by your payment processor.
